Jorge started mixing music when he was 14. He graduated from Webster University with a bachelor in Audio Production and Business Management. He mixes and masters for independent artists and labels. Jorge founded Sound Goats in 2021  helping artists achieve the highest audio quality in their work. He specializes in Hip-Hop, EDM, Pop and Rock but has worked on all genres including country, spoken word and classical.

Jorge uses a hybrid mixing approach which is consistent and effective. He has worked on SSLs, APIs and Neve Consoles and favors the sound of the SSL 4000. He uses state of the art equipment and utilizes outboard analog gear in every mix and master. He believes that analog provides the  depth, dimension and headroom that can't be achieved with plugins alone. 

Being a musician, Jorge understands the importance and integrity of your sound. He plays the piano, guitars, drums, allowing Sound Goats to also provide custom instrumentals upon request.
